Communiqué seulement en anglais
In conjunction with Stockholm Design Week 2017, the PR agency Grand Relations is publishing the Grand Relations Review, a ‘digital paper’ designed to communicate new products from the agency’s clients in a new way to Swedish and international media, opinion makers, designers and architects.
The aim of the Grand Relations Review is to inspire, encapsulate and spotlight new product launches. Grand Relations hopes that the Review will entice the design industry to retrieve information and help keep them updated on new products launched during design week.
In the first edition of the Review, Grand Relations commissioned three international design journalists to interpret the theme of Scandinavian design today.
Readers will find articles by the London-based design journalist Claire Bingham, who has written for, among others, Elle Decoration UK, New York Times, Architectural Digest; design journalist Shonquis Moreno, who lives in New York, San Francisco and Istanbul and has written for, among others, Surface, Frame, Wallpaper, Kinfolk, Departures; and the Netherlands-born design journalist Micha van Dinther, who works with publications such as Dwell, Frame, Wallpaper and Condé Nast. Art Direction by Viktor Erlandsson, Straight.
The Grand Relations Review also contains an article about 2017 trends by Li Edelkoort, global trend spotting with trend expert and editor-in-chief Costas Voyatzis from Yatzer.com, and a design conversation about Scandinavian design with leading designers including Faye Toogood, Lee Broom, Gam Fratesi, Luca Nichetto as well as the guest of honor at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Jaime Hayon.
Grand Relations Review also includes a photo reportage without words by photographer Dana Ozollapa. Here, the images speak for themselves. The photographs feature some of Sweden’s leading designers and architects and were taken at their place of inspiration in Stockholm. The photo reportage includes: Andreas Martin-Löf, Luca Nichetto, Anya Sebton, Monica Förster, Emma Blanche, Jonas Pettersson and Pontus Lomar.
