On Friday, June 25, AZURE revealed the 22 inspiring winners representing the best in global architecture and design.
Chosen by our expert jury, the winners represent the best of an impressive selection field of over 1,200 submissions—representing a record-breaking 57 countries.
The submissions were evaluated by 10 world-renowned practitioners. Patricia Urquiola, Ini Archibong, Susannah Drake, Sou Fujimoto, Adelaide Testa, Paul Filek, Karim Rashid, Barbara Bestor, Marc Ryan, and Gilles Saucier adjudicated through an immersive—and globe-spanning—remote deliberation process.
On Friday, June 25, 2021, at 1 PM EDT AZ Awards Winners Reveal launched and winners were revealed online in an exclusive showcase on the all-new AZ Awards platform. Visitors explored the awards by category in their preferred order and at their own pace, and experienced the Winners Reveal by scrolling through the wealth of beautiful project images, videos and more, for an in-depth look at this year’s 22 standout winners and 50 Awards of Merit.
