The Literature Pavilion, an open structure or about 40 visitors with no climatic sheath, is reminiscent of stylised Bedouin tent where people sit on the floor – cushions and blankets are covered in a fabric specially woven in Germany.

As dusk sets in, a landscape made of millions of tiny lights begins to twinkle in the northern half of the island. The spectacle transpires to be a sea of stalks swaying softly in the wind and slowly changing their colour.
