In this day and age, great changes have taken place in the way of people’s work. The rapid development of technology brings two main differences to our working environment, which can be summarized as cooperated and flexible. Today people’s activities at office have become more and more diverse.

Shared Work is a concept of office table design that particularly suited for today's working environment, the core concept behind this project is “Sharing”, which means the resources in the office are not belong to any specific person, but belong to everyone. 

This unique table enables people to use it in their own way. For single use, people can get a relatively private space by using it separately. For multi use, people can create a variety of combination by getting several pieces together to meet the specific needs of different work modes.

My name is Tianyu Xiao and I am China-born, Sweden-based industrial designer. After completing a bachelor study at Central Academy of Fine Arts in China, I came to Sweden for a master level study at HDK-School of Design and Crafts, Gothenburg University.
