There are two units on each floor; therefore, noise and privacy become driving forces in the positioning of a rectangular stairwell which acts as a buffer to prevent sound and direct visual contact between the units.

The ground floor is not only seen as a passage or a means of reaching other spaces, rather it is designed as a prolonged threshold, stretched 20 meters along the length of the building, this horizontal platform connects the street level to the back garden and accommodates various events.

The south Façade is an inverted image of the North façade. It is designed to offer maximum exposure to the garden and south facing light from within its interior spaces.

The combed cement technique, used on North and South facades. The play of light and shadow during different hours of the day, creates an eye catching effect that has a handmade quality which also acts as the conductor of rain water, keeping the façade clean.

A slightly raised platform above street level, offers moments along its path that stimulate the senses, offering different scenarios for reflection, interaction, exhibition, play and dialogue in an attempt to draw in the neighborhood. This ground floor platform is a field for social interactions.
