Groupe Chagall won Best International Retail Interior At The International Property Awards Winners in London

Design Firm, Groupe Chagall has won the award for Best International Retail Interior 2011 for its flagship store Pharmacy Jean Coutu, at the International Property Awards in London. Groupe Chagall was the highest scoring winner in the retail category and has represented Americas at the International Property Awards in London December 12th. Groupe Chagall has competed against winners from Europe, Africa, Asia and Arabia, for the coveted title of World’s Best in Retail Design.
The Pharmacy Jean Coutu is located at 980 Ste-Catherine in Montreal. The specific architecture of the building also helps to give this refined atmosphere. The store now goes the necessary extra mile to attract shoppers. President Johanne Bousquet and Vice President Jean-François Courchesne, said of the award, “This proves that believing in one’s dreams and pushing the limits each day as a team makes anything possible”
Having already competed at country level throughout the regional stages of the International Property Awards, top scoring developers, architects, estate agents and interior designers from across the globe gathered at The Savoy in London on Monday December 12th for the announcement of the ultimate World’s Best winners.
Established 17 years ago, the International Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television and Google is the world’s most prestigious property competition. The awards’ programme covers residential as well as commercial categories with regional heats for Arabia, Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia Pacific. These have been celebrated at gala presentation events in London, Shanghai and Dubai during the course of the year.
The highest scoring entries from each category in every region are then re-evaluated to establish the winners at international level, culminating in an annual grand final. Judging is carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of over 60 experts covering every aspect of the property business.
President of the International Property Awards, Stuart Shield, says, “Winning a coveted World’s Best award is a huge accolade for these companies. They have demonstrated the height of excellence in their field and proved themselves capable of winning against the most accomplished property companies in the world. This global recognition puts them at the pinnacle of the international property arena.”
