Between the 6th and the 11th June was staged the prize-giving ceremonies of the FAD associations at the different disciplines of design along the FADfest: FAD Awards to Architecture and Interior Design and Habitàcola for students, Delta Awards to Product Design, ADI Medals for design students and ADI Culture Awards, Laus Awards to Graphic Design and Visual Communication.
FAD Awards to Architecture and Interior Design by ARQUIN-FAD
496 works were entered in this new edition between all the categories. The architect Moisés Gallego chaired the jury of this 58th edition of the awards, which comprised the following members: Patricia Barbas, Eduardo de Miguel, Maite Prats, Rosa Remolà and Julia Schulz-Dornburg. In the preceding months, this judging panel travelled around the Iberian peninsula, touring the longlisted works.

ADI-FAD Awards to Industrial and product Design
The ADI-FAD Industrial Design Association organises these prizes, which cover the principal recognitions to industrial and product design in Spain: the Delta Awards and the ADI Medals for students. Furthermore, for the first time in its history, the ADI Awards include a prize that pays homage to the culture of design and its contribution to society, the ADI Culture Award. For this edition the jury was presided by Jasper Morrison, British designer and the vocals Jeannette Altherr, industrial designer, co-founder of the Lievore Altherr Molina studio; Alexader von Vegesack, founder and president of CIRECA and prime mover of Domaine de Boisbuchet; Xavier Costa, CEO of Lékué; and Gracia Cardona, chair of ADI-FAD, co-founder and current director of the diarioDESIGN online publication. Toghether they decided to award 1 Gold Delta and 8 Silver Deltas to the following projects:

Laus Awards 2016 to Graphic Design, Digital, Advertising, Audiovisual and Student, by ADG-FAD
The winners of this year’s Laus Awards were announced at a ceremony in Barcelona’s Design Museum last Friday, with judges giving 1 Grand Laus and 8 Gold Trophies in the Graphic Design category. 1188 national and international entries were submitted in total across all categories (graphic design, digital, advertising, audiovisual and students).
