Public and revenues have increased by 20% over the last year with the involvement of national and international buyers from 160 countries, a sign of recovery for the world of design. Roads, showrooms, transport, clubs and museums crowded at any time of day. The collaboration between the different actors of the design week and the Municipality of Milan has brought improvements in city services, providing quality in the installations on public land. The Salone del Mobile, organized by Cosmit, and Fuorisalone.it, a Studiolabo’s platform, have collaborated for the first time actively promoting Milan as design capital.The 2014 edition Is concluded with a positive sign: Salone del Mobile has registered 357.212 visitors (up 10 per cent compared to 324 thousand in 2013) and fuorisalone exceeded 400,000 admissions that brought to 250 million of revenue to the city of Milan (data coming from Chamber of Commerce).
Fuorisalone.it, official communication channel for design week, is confirmed as the most clicked and used portal of the week.
300.000 total visits of which 210.000 unique visitors for a total of page views equal to 1.400.000.
The website Fuorisalone.it has produced a list of 984 published events, 12 official itineraries in the city, and 100 e-reporters who have created a visual and historical memory over 20.000 images.
Also interesting is the reference target:
- More accesses were made by people ranging in age from 25 and 34 years
- 92% gained access from Italy, the rest from Switzerland, England, Germany, USA and France
- the devices used to access were composed for the 61.25% by computers, 27.84% by smartphones and 10.91% by tablet
The App dedicated to Fuorislaone has received 9.500 on iOS and 3.000 on Android downloads.

BRERA DESIGN DISTRICT REPORT:
Brera Design District is reconfirmed the most visited district of design week, with a passage of 140.000 people and 136 events.
The headquarter, situated in Mediateca Santa Teresa, hosted the major international brands and cultural projects, with a transit of over than 12.000 people.
The theme of 2014 - Design Lessons - Be District: creating connections, communication innovation – represented the starting point for the creation of a Manifesto, realized by Studiolabo – Brera Design District creator – and Italian Association of Design Historians, and the planning of 20 lectures and 7 conferences on the subject.
2 info point on the territory, a dedicated website, 50.000 guides distributed throughout the city of Milan have ensured an easy access to information and orientation in the district.
The website www.breradesigndistrict.it has counted 50.000 total visits for a total of page views equal to 170.000.
