Society for Arts and Technology (SAT)
Contemporary montreal creations
Apartment and togetherness The founder of souk @ sat—Azamit —and the co-founder and consultant Bruno Ricciardi-Rigault —and their selection committee bring together close to a 100 artists/designers and other hybrid creators at the SAT. The open space is laid out like an immense loft-apartment.
Mercado creativo Come and discover a new-style and ephemeral “supermarket” under one roof where creativity, originality and inventiveness are the guideline. Whatever your age, whatever your needs, and whatever your means the souk @ sat is the ideal place to find that special gift for the holiday season or for your home: decorative objects, accessories, clothing, delicacies, toys, books etc.
Local produce from our land On the upper floor of the |SAT|, the Foodlab will follow up on last year’s success. The two house chefs—Seth Gabrielse et Michelle Marek—invite you to taste a traditional holiday season inspired Quebecois meal. An event that will, once again, be driven by innovative culinary practices from Quebec.
Moreover, a Market set up by Frédérc Gautheir will feature imaginative food producers who celebrate the use of local produce in the preparation of holiday meals.
Buy locally, shop eco-responsibly At the souk @ sat you will discover a multitude of original creations and have the opportunity to meet their creators, who are living proof that Montréal is truly a cultural Metropolis where creativity and design are front and centre.
