The "Soirée des Grands A", a networking event featuring special guests takes place every year in a new venue. This year’s theme is “Building the future together”. The 2018 edition will bring together some 200 guests at Sid Lee’s 8 Queen creative space in old Montreal. The fundraising event will serve as a forum to highlight AWBQ’s activities and thank its valued partners. Over the past 10 years, the event has become a key event within the design community. The festive cocktail setting is a perfect backdrop for AWBQ to gather the many partners that have contributed to its mission for more than a decade: architects, ambassadors, allies, and a multitude of other “great a’s”. Join us for the 2018 Soirée des Grands A!
AWBQ has been helping vulnerable communities in Quebec and abroad for over 10 years. Founded in 2007 by the Quebec order of architects, AWBQ is the humanitarian arm of some 4000 Quebec architects who are all de facto members. Their mission is to improve the living conditions, promote the autonomy and restore the dignity of the architecturally disadvantaged by tapping into the collective resources of the Quebec architectural community.
