Montreal, Canada, 2013-08-18 - pH Santé Beauté is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Its two founders, Daniel Crisafi, holder of a doctorate in nutrition (nutritional biochemistry) and one in naturopathy, and Suzie Rousseau, aesthetician, have built their success by combining naturopathy, nutritional counselling and beauty care. Over thirty years of studies and clinical practice in their respective areas of expertise have led them to state that beauty and health are intimately linked.

According to Suzie Rousseau, their combining and integrating knowledge in the areas of beauty and health represents the future of aesthetic and cosmetology care. That is why at pH Santé Beauté, nutrition and naturopathy are treated as integral parts of beauty care. “Our food has a destructive or repairing effect on our body and on our skin” says Dr. Crisafi. “As an example, if we consume foods or nutrients that our body requires to repair its tissues we slow down the ageing process.”

A Winning Combination

The synthesis of both specialised approaches helps determine the appropriate modifications that ensure a regeneration of the optimal health of both skin and body. The clinical results include the elimination of various health and skin problems, such as allergies, insomnia, migraines, gastrointestinal problems, chronic fatigue and problems related to stress such as wrinkles, acne, dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis.

Your Skin Decides

At pH Santé Beauté, your skin care is based on an analysis of your skin as well as a global health profile. Suzie Rousseau selects the treatments, products and nutritional supplements, based on what she discovers by examining the epidermis of her client’s skin. Her knowledge and clinical experience enable her to determine the substances the skin will react to better, be they herbs, essential oils, cellular extracts, oxygen or hydrogen and more. If she determines that a more complete health evaluation is required, she will refer her clients to Dr. Crisafi who will then undertake a complete evaluation in order to identify the causes of the perceived health problems.

About our Founders

Daniel Crisafi
Daniel Crisafi holds a PhD in nutrition (nutritional biochemistry), a naturopathic diploma and naturopathic doctorate as well as a Master herbalist degree. The author of several books and nutrition guides, including Candida Albicans, Les Superaliments as well as Blood Pressure and Metabolic Syndrome (both better nutrition magazine healthy living guides), and a former editor-in-chief of Vitalité Québec and Health’n Vitality, Dr. Crisafi has more than twenty five years of clinical experience. Dr. Crisafi is member of the Association des naturopathes agréés du Québec and chair of the board of directors of the École d’Enseignement Supérieur de Naturopathie du Québec. In 2004, he was inducted into the Canadian Health Food Association’s (CHFA) Hall of Fame.

Suzie Rousseau
Suzie Rousseau is an internationally renowned aesthetician, having trained both in France, Canada and the U.S.A. After obtaining her aesthetics diploma in France, she obtained a natural health product advisor diploma in Canada. Suzie has been practicing clinical aesthetics for over twenty-five years. Her unique approach, which includes both topical and systemic support, enables her to achieve a veritable transformation of the skin, a transformation that is not only “skin deep”. Indeed, far from delivering a more superficial yet relaxing spa experience, her understanding of the skin, its histology and biochemistry, as well as her causal rather than superficial approach, delivers unparalleled results.
