Marc Cramer was born in France and began his career in Europe with a number of acclaimed exhibitions. It was in Quebec, however, where he settled in the mid-1970s, that his career truly took off. He has received a number of grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. Mr. Cramer has taken part in many group and individual photography and furniture shows, and his photos appear regularly in architecture and design magazines in Canada, the United States and Europe. He is one of the leading figures in architectural photography in Canada. He teaches photography at the Université de Montréal.
