Montreal, Canada, 2012-05-15 - The Professional Association of Interior Designers of Quebec (APDIQ) is proud to announce its 10th Anniversary which will take place at the 2nd APDIQ Excellence Awards Gala. The association celebrates its 10th year anniversary serving its members and rewards in this festive context, the excellence of their achievements through recognition of their APDIQ peers. All professional members of the Quebec Association are invited to attend the Gala, which will be held on June 21, 2012 at the prestigious Lion d’Or in Montreal.

« The 10th anniversary is an opportune time to announce the new APDIQ’s vocation as a regulator allowing its members to make their mark as a certified interior designerAPDIQ® », declares the President, Mr. André Lapointe.

During this 2nd APDIQ Excellence Awards Gala, the members and other guests will have the opportunity to witness great achievements in the interior design community during the presentation of the Awards.

This year, a total of seven (7) awards will be presented for the following categories: Employer of the Year, Emerging Designer, Exceptional Career, Member of the Year,10th Anniversary Distinguished Member, Public Award – Residential Customers and Public Award – Commercial Customers.

The interior designers, members of the APDIQ, are invited to submit their nominations by May 31, 2012 at noon by completing the electronic Call for Nominations document:

The ticket price includes cocktails and a three (3) course meal, hosted by Catherine Richer and background music that will liven up the evening - Business attire.
