Montréal, Canada

Vertima

Montréal, Canada, 2021-10-04 -

Vertima is pleased to announce that it has just completed the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management for the PVM business campus (Place Ville Marie). Ivanhoé Cambridge, PVM’s proud owner and manager, is the first company in Canada to obtain the certification, demonstrating that it has adopted the industry’s highest standards for cleaning and sanitization, emergency preparedness, health service resources, and air and water quality management to respond to the pandemic and to meet the future needs of PVM’s occupants.

For exmple, Vertima recently coordinated the environmental requirements and performance for the construction of the new Maison Radio-Canada, owned by Broccolini, as well as for the Ericsson corporate campus, a LEED® gold-level project of MONTONI.

Specialized in environmental strategies and certifications, Vertima actively supports manufacturers on an international scale, as well as all stakeholders involved in environmentally friendly and sustainable construction projects, in order to improve integrated solutions and the environmental performance of local companies, products, services, and buildings.

To date, the company has analyzed and validated more than 1,000 products with environmental properties and features, and has completed more than 91 sustainable building certification projects, including LEED, WELL, and Green Globes.

Vertima has given over 250 collaborative workshops on integrated design processes (ICP), and the company has trained more than 950 professionals in the construction industry. As a program recognized by the Government of Quebec's Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, all sessions can be included as part of in-company training hours, in addition to being approved by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) for the maintenance of the LEED® specialized professional designation.

“We want to make a difference by facilitating the implementation of environmental strategies within companies,” says Josée Lupien, LEED Fellow, WELL AP, President of Vertima. “Through our team of passionate and highly skilled professionals, we create economic value for any company that wants to update its certifications or environmental practices.”

A Strong and Dynamic New Image

In order to position itself as a leader in environmental practices and certifications, Vertima recently redesigned its brand image and website, vertima.ca, in collaboration with Synapsis Branding. The new logo displays a leaf, embodying its sustainable development values. The new website also further highlights Vertima’s diverse expertise and the customer base it serves, including companies in the manufacturing sector, the real estate industry, and other areas of activity.
