Modern Interpretation of a Speakeasy Bar
AGROB BUCHTAL

The Bardem cocktail bar is a hotspot in the city centre of Helsinki. After work, it is a meeting place for all those who want to relax with first-class drinks. In the evening, the party scene comes together. The charm of a modern Speakeasy Bar is already visible from outside.

The curved bar is the heart of the cocktail bar. It was deliberately designed to form a strong contrast to the dark background and was therefore clad with wooden panels in a light, honey-coloured finish.

Perfect colour harmony between curtain-like wall decoration (top), bench (bottom) and the ceramic tiles produced by long-time firing in a classic tunnel kiln (Craft series of Agrob Buchtal). The three-dimensional variant from the same collection, which is used in the centre, divides the wall and creates attractive visual effects with its wave profile.

Ceramic tiles from the Craft series of Agrob Buchtal make their own statement on the wall and bring life to the deliberately discreetly lit room. High-gloss glazes and intensive colouring also create an impressive visual depth and perfectly harmonize with the soft shapes and materials used.
