For the past 16 years, the Guide 200 has celebrated the richness and diversity of architectural and interior design creativity in Quebec. Positioned somewhere between a magazine and a book, it is built year after year as a living record of the evolution of the architecture and design industry—its trends, commitments, and boldness.
“More than ever, the 2025 edition reflects the vitality of Index-Design’s professional community of practice," says Sandra Heintz, Director of Index-Design. "Through the selected projects, a constantly evolving creative ecosystem emerges: one that is increasingly user-focused, mindful of circularity, and agile in cross-disciplinary dialogue.”
The go-to index of Quebec architects and designers
Designed to be both inspiring and easy to navigate, the Guide lists over 200 architecture and design firms across Quebec and showcases the portfolios of around forty studios, illustrating their aesthetics and expertise through residential projects, boutiques, hotels, restaurants, museums, public spaces, and more.
A curated selection of fifteen “Outstanding Projects” completed over the past 18 months, chosen by Index-Design’s editorial team, offers a current snapshot of the industry’s creativity. The Guide also features five outdoor design projects, underscoring the growing importance of the relationship between indoor spaces and nature in supporting well-being.

Muni, a cover project by Ivy Studio
By highlighting projects where intent, innovation, and materiality intersect, Index-Design aims to showcase design as a driver of transformation—of spaces, practices, and narratives alike. The cover project, Muni by Ivy Studio, merges architectural heritage with a contemporary vision. This indoor golf club subtly reinvents the codes of hospitality within a heritage building, where textures, tones, and lighting combine to create an immersive, elegant, and inviting atmosphere.
Through its two annual guides, a series of events, including Complètement Design, its flagship annual gathering, Index-Design furthers its mission to promote the design professions and to cultivate spaces for connection, exchange, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
