The architecture, scenography, and technical expertise firm Bisson associés, with more than 40 years in business and dozens of major projects to its credit, is proud to unveil its new identity, website, and name: Circum architecture. Developed by Sébastien Roy and the Paquebot Design studio, this complete image renewal is a powerful testament to the human experience, diversity, and collaborative spirit at the heart of the firm’s work.

Circum is a Latin word meaning around. It evokes the power of circularity. That power is reflected in the firm’s new identity through its collaborative culture and work philosophy. By using a Latin word more than 2000 years old, the film is sending a clear message about its commitment to deploying creative strategies with its partners in order to meet clients’ objectives and create effective, inspiring, and sustainable places. 

Tools that highlight expertise and accomplishments

A bold and contemporary color, orange, piques curiosity and evokes modernity. The typography is designed to be clear and effective for a variety of content types, from stationery and site tools to promotional tools for users and clients. Circum architecture’s image extends from the new logo to its new business cards, stationery, signage, promotional items, personal protective equipment, and website. 

Collectively, these new tools comprise a visual identity that highlights the team’s expertise and accomplishments, including landmark projects such as the Visitor Education Centre at the Canadian National Vimy Memorial in France, the Grand Marché de Québec, the Bibliothèque Laure-Conan in Charlevoix and MU, a 465-unit residential project currently under construction in Quebec City.
