The Tinnerbäcksbadet, realised by the architectural office 3XN around 200 kilometres southwest of Stockholm, presents itself as a spatial composition in earthy-warm colours. 18,000 m² of ceramic tiles from Agrob Buchtal play a key role here.

As well as the acoustic ceiling panels in cement-bonded wood wool and the wall coverings in filigree wood strips, the floor with its lively structure is a real eye-catcher: beige porcelain stoneware tiles in 600 x 600 mm format from the Savona series by Agrob Buchtal.

Dynamic shapes, modelled on light sandy grey mosaic tiles, are found in the spa area - where they are combined with the Savona tile series.

Natural materials and colours: The room's pleasant atmosphere is due above all to the tiled surfaces in warm earth tones, which were one of the reasons why the Tinnerbäcksbadet was awarded the Swedish Miljøbyggnad sustainability certificate in silver.

For construction reasons, stainless steel pools are not an option for us. Tiling meets all the technical, functional and aesthetic requirements and is therefore an integral part of our projects,’ explains Christian Wamberg Rasmussen, architect at 3XN.
