New Leadership at Zeidler's Calgary office by Zeidler Partnership Architects
Zeidler Partnership Architects
Tarek El-Khatib, senior partner at Zeidler, says, "This is a big change in our firm. Steve's dedication leaves behind a legacy of memorable projects, and I am confident that under this new guidance, our Calgary team will continue to meet the standards of innovation, collaborative engagement and service that our clients expect. Michael's and Martin's passion for architecture will no doubt inspire the team."
Michael has led highly publicized public sector work and large mixed-use developments. His career includes Canadian hospitality projects, such as the Banff Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise, and international commissions in Kenya, Vietnam, Russia and Hungary. Michael is working on the completion of The Bow Phase 1 and just starting design of the Quarry Park Corporate Child Care Facility.
Martin has led the planning, design and construction of multi-million dollar projects throughout western Canada and the Northwest Territories, the U.S., Russia and China. As project manager and design architect, Martin has recently completed several projects in Alberta: EPCOR Tower, the Grand Prairie Library and Art Gallery, the Kainai Peacemaking Centre, and the PennWest Towers in Calgary.
Susan Rigaux, office manager for Zeidler in Calgary, helped start the satellite branch in 2001 and will continue overseeing business management.
