Daoust Lestage Architecture Expands its Leadership
Daoust Lestage Lizotte Stecker
Daoust Lestage is proud to announce the elevation of two new partners; Rachel Stecker, OAQ OAA, and Eric Lizotte, OAQ.
Daoust Lestage Lizotte Stecker is a continuation of our practice and experience developed over more than 30 years, building on the talent and energy of a new generation to offer an evolving approach to architecture, from the city to the object.
Since joining Daoust Lestage in 2009, Rachel has collaborated on complex, multidisciplinary projects of varied scopes and scales and has played a key role in expanding the practice throughout Canada. Her expertise in project management and interest in design quality control enables her to ensure a consistent and coherent design signature from the beginning to the end of a project. Rachel is recognized for her ability to see a problem from multiple vantage points and find creative, design-driven solutions to complex challenges.
Eric has been instrumental in guiding projects from concept through completion since joining Daoust Lestage in 2014. He is recognized for his strong design and technical skills in architecture, as well as his ability to work closely with clients. Eric’s interest in projects of all scales guides his approach to architecture, from the city to the object, in major public commissions carried out in sensitive urban, landscape, and heritage contexts.
Daoust Lestage is also pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Beaulieu, OAQ OAA, Nathalie Trudel, OAQ, and Lucie Bibeau, AAPQ, OALA, CSLA, as Principals in recognition of their significant contribution and collaboration since the office’s founding in 1988.
About us
Since 1988, Daoust Lestage Lizotte Stecker has been involved in the fields of architecture, landscape and urban design. As a multidisciplinary firm concerned with design at every scale, we strive to bridge the limitations of traditional design practices and dissolve boundaries between urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, graphic, interior, industrial and furniture design.
For each project our approach begins with a careful reading of the site and the intrinsic qualities of the surroundings revealing traces of the past through a resolutely contemporary language. Characterized by bold simplicity, our designs demonstrate an ability to realize projects of varied nature and scope. Daoust Lestage Lizotte Stecker has been recognized at the international, national and provincial level for our commitment to the realization of significant, high quality projects at the urban and architectural scales.
