Alexandre and François have been part of the MSDL Architectes team for over 10 years. Both dedicated and passionate, they invest themselves in their projects with boundless energy. Conscientious and assuming important responsibilities, they play a key role in their respective teams, ensuring an effective and relevant presence. Over the years, they have earned the trust of clients, contractors, engineers, and consultants, contributing not only to the firm's solid reputation, but also to its values.

Alexandre Cassiani joined MSDL Architects in 2012, and has since distinguished himself through his contribution to major, complex projects such as Maison Manuvie and Place Banque Nationale, the new 40-storey office tower housing BNC's head office. He holds a master's degree in architecture, with a focus on project management. He is endowed with an excellent ability to grasp the big picture, enabling him to intervene in an applied and reliable manner on the mandates entrusted to him. Alexandre has acted as project manager, assistant project manager, and supervisor on a wide variety of projects for both public and private clients, including Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ), Ivanhoe Cambridge, and École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). A team player with a reputation for rigorous management and attention to detail, he brings a clear and inquisitive eye to the firm, always with the aim of developing exemplary architecture in line with its vision of excellence. A mountain lover and avid alpine hiker, he relishes the challenge of every ascent, whatever the summit to be reached.
François St-Hilaire OAQ, AP LEED BD+C

François St-Hilaire holds a master's degree in architecture from McGill University (2008), and he has been working with MSDL Architectes since 2013. He has contributed to the success of many of the firm's major projects, including 1 Square Phillips in downtown Montreal and the Paul-Mercier Library in Blainville. He is currently in charge of the expansion and modernization of the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. Demonstrating strong project management skills, he is a proactive architect who is adept at handling complex situations, effectively prioritizing the steps to be taken and the measures to be put in place to optimize the organization of his work and that of his team. Drawing on his extensive experience, he is sure to exert a most positive influence on the team of associates, helping to bring new projects to the table, maintain the firm's reputation for excellence, and develop new client bases. As an accomplished clarinetist, having played with several orchestras over the last 30 years, he draws his inspiration from music, finding in it a place of parallel creativity and balance.
