A key feature of the Singapore Sports Hub is the integration of retail restaurant and office space around the stadium. The seamless physical connectivity between these spaces ensures that the precinct is continually busy and active on event and non-event days

A radical cooling system ensures that the stadium will be comfortable whatever the occasion or sporting event. Instead of being supplied at a high level, cooled air will be introduced beneath stadium seats. This will also minimise the volume of air cooled and thus considerably cut energy use. Giant louvres, meanwhile, will provide protection from sun and rain for the grand arcade encircling the stadium, and allow a free circulation of air

The Stadium incorporates a moving tier of seats that can be pulled forward when the athletics track is not in use. This improves proximity to the pitch and thus enhances spectator experience and atmosphere
