ART SOUTERRAIN presents TICKET TO THE ARTS
Art Souterrain
To participate, please sign up via our website: artsouterrain.com/passeport-pour
Many prizes are at stake for participants with the right answers. Amongst them, a Calypso package for Bota Bota spa (botabota.ca), a course for 2 at La Bourgeoise Sérigraphe (labourgeoiseserigraphe.com), annual memberships to the McCord Museum (musee-mccord.qc.ca), and tickets for Fred Pellerin’s performances at Place des Arts (placedesarts.ca). All participants are eligible to the drawing, according to the number of right answers they get in the treasure hunt. Winners will be announced in the following days, via ART SOUTERRAIN’s social networks.
A wide range of interactive and amusing activities will be presented during Montréal’s Nuit Blanche (March 1st) and ART SOUTERRAIN’s Spotlight Events (March 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16). A new guided tour, Art Cocktail, has been added to the schedule: from 5 PM to 7 PM, participants will be guided through two buildings of the festival, before attending a discussion on art, accompanied by a glass of wine. To reserve a guided tour, visit our website at: artsouterrain.com. Chronique Thématique offers the public a chance to share their spontaneous thoughts in notebooks, and the Cadavre Exquis sessions will allow visitors to draw different parts of the human body.
Artists at Work invites you to enter the minds of ART SOUTERRAIN’s participating artists. Discover, during the different Spotlight Events, artists such as Martine Frossard and Isabelle Guichard (Eaton Center, March 7), who present Chronology, a participative artwork, which invites festival goers to add their own anecdote to a immense 2013 timeline.
Due to previous years’ success, ART SOUTERRAIN once again partners up with En Masse to offer you En masse pour les masses, a graffiti activity, open to all, on March 16th, between noon and 5 PM. La Camaraderie joins ART SOUTERRAIN to bring you Alter Ego at the Complexe les Ailes. This project invites visitors to share where they come from and where they are going. The art collective will also present, once again, its Memory Tree at Place des Arts, a metallic structure in which visitors are invited to write their favourite memories.
