This exhibition aspires to empower three young agencies of architects, who previously took part in the FAV, with the possibility of offering a creation that brings a singular view on the FAV.
The three solicited teams are:
Abc-studio: Doonam Back and Yann Caclin, whose production is recognized in the area, live in Nancy and were part of the FAV 2010 edition. Both their registration at the festival and their territorial attachment reflect common values with those carried by the FAV.
Plux.5: Etienne Bernier, Marianne Charbonneau, Olivier Bourgeois and Jean-Philippe Saucier, are architects from Québec who participated to the FAV in 2011. They very well know the territory since Marianne studied for one year at the Architecture School of Montpellier, and that Etienne worked for an architectural office the same year. Thus, they are true ambassadors of both territorial heritage and the FAV.
Spaces: Guillaume Girod, Luc Leotoing and Sophie Bourg, respectively are an architect in Grenoble and two landscape designers in Clermont-Ferrand. They share a valuable experience with the FAV since they all took part in its previous editions: Guillaume, in 2011, for the realization of the Pavilion; and Luc and Sophie in 2007. Today, they run a common agency. The FAV has thus acted as both a vector and catalyst enabling them to develop their common professional project.
As the title of this exhibition indicates, the FAV gives « Cartes Blanches » to all possible in creation.
The exhibition will take place:
- From the 3rd to the 14th of June, at the Lapeyronie room of the Saint-Côme hostel, in Montpellier.
- From the 20th to the 28th of June, at the exhibition space of the Harbour office, in la Grande Motte.
